Consent to electronic records and signatures
Last updated October 28, 2026.
When you send a loan request through this site, we and the lenders and partners who receive it need to give you disclosures, notices and other records. This page explains how we do that electronically under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN).
What you agree to
By checking the consent box on the request form, you agree that we may provide records to you electronically, by showing them on screen, by email or by text message, and that your electronic signature has the same effect as a handwritten one. This consent covers your request and communications about it. A lender that makes you an offer will ask for its own consent to sign the loan agreement electronically.
Paper copies
You can ask for a paper copy of any record we provided by emailing [email protected]. We do not charge for paper copies.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing does not undo anything already done electronically. If you withdraw consent before we pass your request along, we will not be able to process it online.
What you need
- A device with a current web browser and an internet connection
- A working email address
- Software that opens PDF files, and a way to save or print them
Keeping your details current
Tell us if your email address changes, so you keep receiving records.
Cumberland Finance is not a lender and does not make credit decisions. If a lender makes you an offer, the amount, fee, APR and repayment terms come from that lender and appear in the loan agreement before you sign.
